Error message occurs when loading email from Outlook Express; should I reinstall Outlook?

When I am down loading my email from Outlook express a message pops up

"Wuauboot had caused an error" how can i correct this. Should I just reinstall Outlook express?

The message maybe occured because of the bad email but if you plan on reinstalling Outlook then make sure you delete the first one before reinstalling.
