Can I upgrade my AMD K6-2 cpu 233 mhz to a faster processor? I have an IBM Aptiva E series 190.

Upgrading a processor will be determined by you motherboards specifications...Its alwyas possible to upgrade to a faster processor only if your motherboard supports it....

If you have your motherboards documentation that shows the configurtation of your motherboard upgrading will be a simple process of choosing the processor that better suits your motherboard and just installing it...

If you do not have this documentation...go to the motherboards manufacturers web site input you motherboards make and model in their sites search engine and you can verify the specification on your motherboard there and how fast of a processor you can upgrade to.
