Why does my computer keep restarting itself?

I was recently signing on to AOL, when all of a sudden my computer just turned off and restarted itself for no apparent reason. I did build my own pc, but all the wires are correct, and it has been running perfectly fine. Im not sure if its a setting i have in the BIOS, or what. Thanx Josh

There is the chance that something is shorting out in your computer, after which your power supply automatically restarts itself It can also be you CPU fan Check to see if CPu fan is working because that can cause your computer to overheat and restart itself If that's the problem make sure you replace it as soon as possib;e.
