Howdo you restore your computer back to the way it was ?

Lets see if i can explain this.

I had a virus on my computer and I downloaded Avg6.0. and when i did it ran the scan and said if found and healed the worm , i believe . So now i cannot open anything. I click on Micorsoft word (for example) and an error pops up and says Windows cannot find '(null)'. Make sure you typed in name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click Start button, and then click Search.

I have no clue about computers. It does it on anything i click on. i dont know what to do.

and like my call wave , the icon on task bar disappeared and when i went to start menu to start it , it said the same thing. It says Windows cannot find 'C\program Files\callwave\IAM.exe'. Make sure you typed in the name correctly, and then try again. It wont even let me do the systems thing. where u go back and undo things u previously done.

CAN YOU HELP ME???????

You need to start in safe mode by pressing f5 or f8 when your computer starting to boot

then go to start, run, then type in the run box, MSCONFIG and look were it says launch system restore click on it, this should help you to restore it back
