Why am I getting this message

When I reboot my computer.. It identifies my hard drive, then other drives, then stops and says.. Press Delete to continue... It didn't always do that.. what is stoping it from completing the boot process and what do I need to do to fix it..???

You may have once tried to place a password, go to start > settings > control panel and click password and check your password properties, check users and see if all users of this computer use the same preference and desktop settings is checked.
