Why does my computer pc ignores floppy bootdisk on startup?

pc ignores floppy bootdisk on startup &just boots normally pc also ignores when ctrl key

is pressed on startup for start menu

f8 brings up strange menu with 3 options 1floppy disk boot

2ide boot

3network boot[not exact text]

floppy works at this point

pressing delete on startup still brings bios menu but they seem ok going by

mainboard users guide

pc seems to be normal otherwise

reinstalling windows made no difference

im reluctant toformat incase icant start with floppy bootdisk

i dont know how or when this problem occurred
