I recently had some problems with my registry and backed up. I have reloaded all the software/applications but Easy CD Creator v4.0 standard edition will now not recognise any of the MP3 files I have store on my hard drive and I cannot burn any cd's. Winamp3 does recognise them. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still no joy. Also when I have installed Easy CD it no longer has the option to extract files and save them as MP3's, only WAV files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and hopefully I will not have to delete all the mp3's as part of the solution!

It could be when you performed a system back up you might have a missed a file or two.

What I suggest you do is Go to Add Remove Programs and uninstall all the programs that are associated with the Cd Writer..that includes all the programs associated with Easy Cd Creator.

Once this is done uninstall your cd writer and reinstall its drivers...after reinstall your Easy Cd Creator software and make sure its compatible with your operating system Restart the computer Doing this will update your systems registry configuration and solve your problem.
