What is an S port?

Question

I have just taken possesion of a time computer called a Power Flex XP2600+Ultimate pc ps, amongst the many connections it has is one which says-4 portvideo in/out, i was also supplied with plug which at one end is the size of a tv socket but with 9 small pins inside ,this goes to a large socket via 2 inches of cable which has 4 connections which have the markings-S/out, Vout, S /in, V/in. My question is what can i connect to with this socket, can i connect to an ordinary camcorder for instance?

Many Thanks,,,,,Ronnie Farmer

Yes with that port you can hook up a camcorder using the S/in port meaning s video

and that would be the better connection to use because it's clearer than the standered

connection
