What is right click?

A friend has a computer with Windows ME on it.

Suddenly, when they click on the start button and then the all programs button they get a list of programs but there are only icons, no text!!

I'm pretty sure it's a setting somehwere but I don't know where.

Can you tell me how they can restore the text to the list of programs on the start button?

Right click and there should a list to choose from saying, delete, rename, sort by name, etc.
