I think I have problems with my bios(award) or motherboard(asus p2b-f)

if i enable virus det in bos i get an error when starting . if i continue they tell me that the bios is not suppoted. I also used the EZ bios when i changed my hd six months ago. the comp slows down and hang later

Anyway i tried to make a partition with pm 7 pro to install win 2000 on the first 4 gb of the hd.

After that i could not reboot my computer. I tried with the pm rescue boot diskette . it starts booting till pm is also loaded i get that message again EZ error; not supported drive.

What is strange is that my bios is not booting the win 2000 pro cd.With me laptop i did the same without any problem...

maybe asus p2f and award bios don't support booting cd rom?

I got info on the hd? can I still get these info back???

thanks

Rob
