How do I clear the drop-down address boxes on certain web sites , such as search engines or other web sites?I do not want anybody to see what I'm searching for.

Follow these steps to solve your problem.

1st righ clickt the internet explore icon on your desktop...(this is the blue E)

2nd scroll and click on properties

3rd when in that window click the clear history button and your problem should be solved

The history is a list of websites that you have accessed
