How to resolve Runtime Error

Er have been trying to install Turbotax Deluxe 2002; each time installation is almost done an error message comes up: "Program performed illegal operation and will be shut down." Also an "Runtime Error" C:\PrgramFiles\TurboTax\Deluxe2002\32bit\\T.Tax.exe - abnormal program termination...I have had chats with at least six technicians at Intuit snf sll their suggestons have not helped. I upgraded to explorer 6 per their advise and also upgraded windows 98. Still the result is the same.

I also found today that I cannot ind my document to attach to an e-mail which never happened before. I find the document in my regular file system but not when in attachment mode.

Your help will be appreciated. Tecnically I am not well versed. Thanks for your assistance.

1 Select Start, Run

2 Enter regsvr32.exe /u ssdock32.ocx or the file listed in the error message in the Run box

3 Once the process in step 2 is complete, enter regsvr32.exe /c c:\windows\system\ssdock32.ocx or the file listed in the error message in the Run box

4 Reboot Windows

5 Re-launch Turbotax Deluxe 2002
