When my computer boots up I get an erroe message that reads;

Registry Editor

Cannot import C:\WINDOWS\sp.reg:Error opening the file. There may be a disk or file

system error.

However, everything seems to be working fine. I am going to upgrade to Win ME. Could this be a problem and if so how do I correct it.

Any information would be helpful.

Thank you

Fred

SP.dll is a worm.

Run MSCONFIG and UNselect it.

The Find Files for SP.dll and delete it.

Then update your virus defs and do a full virus scan A run of SpyBot would probably be worthwhile also.
