Is the modem speed correct?

Hi,

Internet explorer seems to start very slow since I installed 6.0. This is not only during the start up of IE but also if I click a link that should start a new window. It takes like 1 min to get a window started! Can you please explain me how to solve this issue if you know how to?

Maybe the speed of your modem is not correct You have to check it by clicking Start, Settings, Control Panel and click the Modem icon Click modem that your using and click Properties Check the speed your modem is using Also, check the speed of the port Try turning of your file compression, but if you are using it, then make sure that your modem is configured to use the file compression.
