What is the computers requirements?

I just bought a thrustmaster game pad.Its usb,set up fine works great.When I try to shut down computer it freezes at shutting down windows.Mouse won't move.When I hooked up my modem,it was usb to,and the samething.Hooked it to a nic card and no problem.If I unplug the game pad from the computer it shuts down fine.

P.S. My hp printer is usb and doesn't freeze up system.Weird eh.

You proably don't have enough space in your computer Try not to have too many applications open at the same time Or check the computer's requirements to see how much space you are using Then you'll probably find out what is causing the problem.
