How to access

I run two (2) Printers on my system both Epson a 680 and a 640 the laterfor cheaper prints,I had a problem with this so I removed from my system an reinstalled I found that I could not get The EPSON Status Monitor 2 i.e only the part that shows the amount of ink remainingt.

When I go to check ink remaining I get the message"A communication error has occured"in all other respects the printer works fine I have uninstalled three times with the same results.

I ran Norton SystemWorks this showed the following message.

Missing File "C:\Programe Files\Common

Problem Files \InstallShield/Professional\Run Time\0700\Intel132\DotNetInstaller exe"canot access a necessary file "mscoree.dll".

I have checked on Windows 98 & Windows98SE plus other programe disks for this dll usin explore and Find files without succes any help you could give would be appreciated.

Reg.C, if you have the file in your C:\windows\system folder it may be damaged so just re-name it to something like mscoreeold.dll, then download it from the site above, un-zip it and copy and paste it to your system folder Do the same if it is not present in your system folder, let me know.
