Whenever I save a image off the internet, my computer automatically saves it as a .bmp file. I know this question has been asked already, but I'm wondering if there is a permanent fix to this. I cannot save moving .gif files because when I do, they won't love anymore. I was wondering if there was a file I can download to fix this problem, and if so, where I could get it.

When you are saving picture file, in your Save Picture window in the Save as type drop down box click an arrow and chose .gif or other format you want to save the picture as If you don't do this and computer choses the format automathically you might not be able to view it as you wanted.

If you already saved the pictures but they are in the format you don't want them in, for example, you saved it as .bmp, but wanted it in .gif, you can save them again Go to the folder where the picture files are stored open the desired file (the one that you want to convert), then click File, Save as and then in the Save as type drop down box chose .gif and save it in the same folder This should work and if the image was supposed to move, it should move now If you don't want to have the same picture saved twice in two different formats you can always erase the one you don't need.
