I have had a long struggle to get my computer going. I had to get a new tower and motherboard, and moved the good stuff from the old tower into it. However, the computer cannot boot up, and a message said that it was because something was wrong with the hard drive. What could have been done wrong that could explain this, and is it likely that my hard drive is irreparably compromised?

What could of happen was the connections of the new and the old are not compromising together or you connected the hard drive incorrected and did something to harm it So you can either try the connections again or buy a new hard drive But before buying the new hard drive check to see if it works with your old cpu.
