I installed the wrong memory chip into my computer. When I started nothing happen. I put the old chip back in and when I go to start it goes on but nothing happens the CD ROM drive lights up and the Burner lights up but Windows does not start and the monitor does not go on. Do you have any idea of what I did wrong.

Try putting the original memory chip back in and start your computer, if it loads good, if you want to upgrade you memory make sure it's the right type, and put the same megs in each slot, try not not to put in mixed match memory cards What you might have done wrong is incorrectly re-installed it
