Troublshoot speakers

when i turn on my speakers i get no sound just a clicking sound.

when i get an email which plays music their is no sound.

The most common problem why this happens it is usually that either the drivers for your sound card are unavailable in your computer or your sound card is improperly installed or the plug for the speakers are to tight in loosen them a little(barely nothing)
