MSN explorer problems

I try to open MSN Explorer on my system and it tries to open 5 times and then tells me that MSN is either busy or there is a problem with my connection. This happens whether or not I am connected to MSN Messenger. Microsoft Help suggested that I remove MSN explorer and then Reinstall it which worked straight away. But when i shut down the system (at night say) and then restart the next day the same problem reoccurrs. Further, I was advised to open a new account. The same problems occur with that account as well. I have shut fire walls down and turned off my antivirus programs which made no difference. The only way I can get it to work is to remove and reinstall it when ever I want to open it. Any advise would be helpful.

I think MSN opens five times because you double-click about five times I suggest you close MSN messenger when you chose to go on the internet.
