I am attempting to record digital photos on to CD-R disks in JPG format to playback on my NEW Phillips DVD615 video recorder. My disk will playback the albums I make with Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum or Windows program but when I attempt it in the DVD vidor recorder they will not play. I get only a "no disc" indicator on TV screen and the DVD window. What am I doing wrong? Please help!!!!

I get only a "no disc" indicator on TV screen and the DVD window.

This statement answers your question When trying to record information to a cd-r the info gas to recorded to the Cd-R or CDRW but cannot be playback in a dvd player To burn info to play on a dvd it has to be burned on DVD.

Once recored on a DVD it should play on a DVD player.
