How to troubleshoot runtime error 40006 wrong protocl?

each time i try to play quick snooker on line it shows runtime error 40006 wrong proticol or connection is there any way of repairing this problem hope you can help me

The error message you are getting is stating that your connection is not in a state that it expects Probably that you are trying to send data though a closed connection.

Even if you are just connecting to a 'local' machine you still have to open a connection

Do you have TCP/IP protocol installed?
