I have a DIVX movie that I wanted to transfer to DVD. The movie is 643Gb's in size and will not fit on my blank DVD, which is 4.7 GB. Is there any way to fit it onto this DVD?

I'm pretty sure that you are mistaken about the size of your Movie For starters, it is listed in your profile that you have a 20gb harddrive, so I doubt that a 643gb file will fit on that Secondly, DIVX movies are designed to be small (smaller than their DVD counterparts anyhow) so I'm pretty sure it will fit Thirdly, make sure you have a DVD-W or DVD-RW installed (DVD that can record and/or rewrite DVDs), if not you can buy one here: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Category/category_slc.asp?Id=0404 or get one from your local computer store.

I would recommend getting a regular CD-RW because they are cheaper and your DIVX movie will fit on one CD-RW disk (the limit is about 700mb give or take a 50mb).

Hope this helps.
