I recently did considerable upgrades to my Wife's computer, and I backed-up several critical datat folders to a DVD, the first time I attempted such a back-up procedure/method. Upon attempting to open and/or copy any of the folders or files (which can be viewed in Windows Explorer), a get messages such as, "Cannot copy file(folder) xxx: Error perfoming inpage operation.

Everything appears to be on the DVD, but I cannot retrieve it!

Any assistance you may be able to provide will be greatly appreciated.

You may not be able to retrieve the information, after you finished copying the files, you may not have formatted the DVD to be used on standard DVD drives Try another backup copy and format the drive for the DVD to be used on your computer Use the menu on your DVD software to format your DVD for files.
