I'm trying to upgrade my Windows 2000 Professional to XP Professional. The 2000 came with the Dell computer and I purchased the XP Pro from Microsoft. However, I am unable to delete the TSI Remote Service (re Laplink Gold) from the registry in order to complete the upgrade. How can I avoid this conflict without backing up all of my files and folders and reinstalling all of my programs?

One of the reasons for doing this is to consolidate my various email accounts into MSN 8 and upgrade my service to Broadband for faster downloads, etc.

Well if you have the cd you can up load it from there, if not, you can go to the micrsoft website and upload from there its an easy process thats done in minutes most likely you will not lose any of your files or important information that you have on your computer i hope that can help you.
