Is there any way to remove or stop this without actually uninstalling the cable modem and printer?

Why attempting to install my cable modem, somehow I started the "Safely Remove" progam and it has been runing ever since in my icon tray. Is there any way to remove or stop this without actually uninstalling the cable modem and printer?

There are two ways you can remove that service.

1 Right click the icon on your icon tray.

>Scroll and click properties and select the option that either lets you unistall or remove the program from the icon tray

2 You can also do the following:

> click on the start button and click on run and type in the word "control" and press enter

>this will bring up the control panel once there double click the add/remove program icon

>when in that window scroll down and click on the program you want to remove and remove it from your computer
