I recently installed an external parallel Iomega 100 mb Zip drive and transferred a bunch of files to it from Microsoft Word 97. Now I no longer have the Status bar at the bottom of the Word screen. In Tools/Options/View the Status Bar box is checked, but still no Stauts bar. I need it when typing documents to know the page number, number of pages and overwrite status. Hope you can help.
