My motherboard has an integrated sound card and windows 98 does not automatically install the drivers. Is there an easy way to find out what drivers i should be using? There is a CreAtive Technologies Chip on the motherboard but is does not have a model number.

Thanx.....

Its a possibility that your Windows Operating systems does not have a sound driver for your intergrated sound card Normally the Cd that came with the motherboard should have the necessary drivers for your intergrated sound....On that Cd there should be a driver that is compatible with your operating system If you have the motherboards documentation it should let you know every model number for every intergrated device on your motherboard....Go to the mothersboards manufacturers web site...They should have a listing of sound drivers you can use
