Why your tv screen went blank?

i just installed a s3 savage 2000 vga tv output card. i installed it but when i hook it up to the TV it shows windows opening but then the tv gos blank and the colors on my monitor get all messed up they go down to 8mb. what is the problem? is there anything i can do?

their is a problem with the monitor, it doesnt support that resloution you need one that supports the resolution, or you have a driver corruption try using a super vga monitor
