Rebooting is when you restart a computer You can reboot by pressing the Alt, Control and Delete keys simultaneously This is called a warm boot You can also perform a cold boot by turning the computer off and then on again There is nothing wrong with this.To remove a shortcut from the Startup folder, follow these directions:

Right-click the Start button, and select Open

Double-click Programs

When the Programs folder opens, double-click Startup

Select the shortcut you wish to remove Drag it to the Recycle Bin, or delete it by pressing the Del key

The shortcut will remain in the Recycle Bin until you empty it

In some cases, a shortcut you want to be in the Startup folder is pointing to the wrong program To correct this, follow these instructions:

Right-click the Start button, and select Open

Double-click Programs

When the Programs folder opens, double-click Startup

Right-click the appropriate icon and select Properties

Click the Shortcut tab In the "Target:" field, check the path statement If it does not point to the filename of the correct program, enter the accurate path to the program
