Question

It's to bad that the question that Dean asked about his memory upgrade was answered completely wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His COMPAQ can not and will not take a 256Mbyte SDRAM as his chipset is not designed for any SDRAM modules greater than 128. Please in the future recheck the answers before they get published this is just one example of bad answers that I found in your column.

I'm sorry you have been mistaken, but that board can actually be upgraded to 512MB with two 256Mb memory chip, but I also failed to tell Dean is that he has to use pc100 and not pc133 sdram
