When I play any music files on my PC (wav or mp3) there is a poping in the backgroud and I can here a little static. Even if I transmitt the sound out to my stereo it sounds the same. The sound card is a Creative SB Live.

Thanks,

What you should do is unistall wav and mp3 and then reinstall sometimes when you reinstall it fixes the files.
