When I turned on my computer today, I saw a lot of "lines" running vertically on my monitor. When I rebooted, Windows XP will not load...all I get is a jumble of letters and symbols...it seems to be "trying" to load..yet wont, and then shuts itself down. Thank goodness I had another tower here...HELP Please! What is wrong?

More than likely you will need a new video card, try another monitor, check the cables and the video card, make sure that nothing like speakers, or flourescent lights are to close to the monitor to cause any type of interference
