I've heard that I can partition my hard drive with XP and Dos. I think the salesman lied.

I can't find and software to do it.

I have some DOS programs that run just swell with my old Windows 95.

What do you say???

Thank You

Mick Gregan

Actually the salesman told you the truth.

When it the DOS command prompt there is a command you type called Fdisk that allows you to partition you hard drive

and when installing XP you can partition your hard drive whern Installing the XP operatring its one of the options when configuring the operating system.

Also there is a software vendor on the market by the name of Power Quest that sells this product called Partition Magic that is great when attempting to partion your hard drive.
