Lost the ability to delete my internet history, what do I do.

Somehow I lost the ablilty to delete my internet history. It still wipes out based on the day settings but when I try to go into onternet options and delete the internet history the sytem appears to perform the request but everything is still there.

Go to the internet options again and click on settings in the temporary files area You should be able to erase all of the internet files that you visited before.
