Wht the computer might be freezing?

I have a problem with just browsing around on my computer. It seems to freeze for about 2-4 seconds and then starts going again. When I try to launch my browser it freezes all processes for a few seconds and then starts going again. This happenes repeatedly to any program that I am trying to load. Just when I was typing this it happened 2 times. What could be my problem?

Their are two possiable reason one the computer might be getting to hot due to not enough ventalation , dusty accumulation,power suply might be damaged Or you might have to many programs open.
