The Initial blue, black and white startpage in Outlook express 6 with SP1 dissappeared after I installed a critical update from Windows Update. The update was supposed to stop "page cannot be displayed" errors in MS Messenger. I didn't fully understand the update at the time I installed it, so now I know I can't install every update the scan tells me to install. How do I get the startpage restored?

Do a system restoreby,

going to start, run in the run box type in MSCONFIG and then you will see a button that say Launch System Restore and then click on it then follow the prompt steps when you see the calader put the date before you changed the settings then re start your computer and it will go back to the orginial settings.
