WHEN I START TO PRINT SOMETHING THE PRINTER WILL NOT PRINT AND THE COMPUTER FREEZES AND THE OLD WAY I CAN GET IT TO UNFREEZES IS TO RESTART THE COMPUTER.

THE PRINTER STARTS TO PRINT AND THEN STOPS.

I ALSO KEEP GETTING THIS MESSAGE TO BRING THE PRINTER PORT TO THE FRONT AND I AM NOT SURE HOW TO DO THIS.

PRINTER WAS WORKING FINE UNTIL WE CHANGED OUT THE INK CARTRIDGE.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THINGS I HAVE DONE TO TRY AND CORRECT THE PROBLEM.

I WENT TO CHOOSER AND PICKED THE CORRECT PRINTER AND PORT

I HAVE UNPLUGGED THE POWER CORD TO THE PRINTER PER THE BOOKLET INSTRUCTION

RAN A PRINTER TEST AND IT WORKS FINE.

TURNED OFF ALL POWER TO THE COMPUTER AND PRINTER.

RESTARTED MY COMPUTER SEVERAL TIMES

REBUILT THE DESK TOP.

CHECK THE CORD TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE ALL PLUGGED IN.

You can try and reinstalling the printer software and driver But first you must delete the software it already has go to the control panel, and click add/remove programs search for the printer software and double click it It should begin to uninstall the program upon finishing you will be asked t restart the computer Do so, and when restarted reinstall the printer software with the CD the printer came with.
