Why is my modem not working

When im surfing the net, sometimes an error message will pop up about 3cmlink.exe. It will stop loading pages when I click on them and I have to restart my computer to fix the problem which gets very annoying as it does it at random times, sometimes when I have a lot of work up. Does anyone know what this file is, what it does, and how I can fix this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated

3cmlink.exe is a modem issue, try re-installing it or replacing it and load the drivers
