Why can't I link on to IE 6.0?

Why are button links in IE 6.0 not working. Think it has something to do with security settings but not sure.

You probably need to renew your IP address To do this, go to your Start menu, and click Run Type the following, then hit enter:

ipconfig /release_all

A command prompt window (or DOS window) may appear briefly Then go back to your Start menu, and click Run again Type the following, and then hit enter:

ipconfig /renew

If you still can not connect to the Internet after this, you may want to double check that your ethernet cable and/or jack is still working
