My computer wont reconize my second hard drive or my CD writter. What is the problem?

For a while now my pc has been losing connection with my second hard drive or sometimes it is not present on my computer when booting the pc. My cd writer is also no longer recognised. Do I have a virus or is it a physical problem with the devices?

Try checking your connection and or your jumpers If all is well, you might need to re-installation the software that came with the CDRW and simply reinstall the software If you do not have the software then check the manufactuers site to see if they have the software available for download I hope it works!
