I have have installed a NetoDragon 56K voice modem on a computer. I have the installation disk but when I try to install it in add/remove programs and I click have disk I get an error message file cannot be found, and the instruction sheet that came with the modem is for Windows 98 and I have Windows ME so I can't get them to work. My computer is saying that the modem is installed but when I try to connect to the internet I get an error message 630 that says no modem is detected. Do you have any ideas on how I can fix this? Thank you.

By reading what you explained I came to the conclusion that your modem is not compatible with your Operating system which you stated was Windows ME and your modem works with Windows 98

When hardware is not compatible with the operating system you have, the device will not work unless you load the drivers that are compatible with your operating system (Drivers are programs that allows hardware to work with your operating system) You could probably obtain the necessary drivers from the modem manufactures website (Look for an Windows ME Driver for your modem)

Also the modem you say was detected was probably the old modems file you had that was never removed.
