Disk Doctor error check

Ihave Installed Norton SystemWorks 2003 into my sytem E-machine w/windows xp pro When I do a disk doctor check with fix errors checked it says other files are dedicated to drive and it does not scan and repair drive. What can I do to fix this problem?

I came a cross the same problem, XP Pro does not allow you to auto fix errors on a harddisk if you are running certain drivers What I advice you to do is click: Right Click the Drive you want to check for errors then click Properties On the Properties window Click on the Tools Tab On the Tools Tab window you will see that you have 3 choices, click on Check Now on the Error Checking panel A new window will pop-up, On the " check disk options " make sure you check both of the check boxes then click Start The next time you restart your computer Windows will then check and fix any errors you might have.
