WHY YOU SCREEN MIGHT BE FLICKERING?

My monitor blinks on my laptop. How can I fix it? It occured infrequently on a few select websites which was ok with me, but recently it has been occurring in Microsoft Excel which is where I do most of my work. Thank You

YOU NEED TO ADJUST THE FRESH RATE, YOU CAN DO THIS BY CHANGING THE RESOLUTION OR NUMBER OF COLORS.
