Why the cd burner isnt working?

Recently my Dell CD burner has quit working. When I click on the CD Creator icon, I attempt to start the cd writer and get the following message, "Easy CD Creator Engine Initialization has failed." (could not create the engine).

Previously my cd writer worked without any problem at all. I have not removed or added any programs that I am aware of that may have created my current problem.

Any suggestions or advice that you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

First try reinstalling the program if it doesnt work then Most probable your cd burner is damanaged and you have to replace it.
