I need to play audio cd's in my cd-rom drive.

i can not play audio cd's in my cd-rom drive

With the information that you have provided, I would check to see what kind of CD's you are using Are they CD-R's or CD-RW's Some players can't read from the CD-R's but will read from CD-RW's

Also make sure your cd is installed correctly.

Right click the my computer icon on your desktop, scroll and click on properties

Once there, click on the device manager , when there scroll and click on expand your cd drive icon by clicking on the " " symbol

When there right click on the icon that represents your drive and click its properties button

Here you will need to uninstall and reinstall its drivers

the reason you are going to do this is to clear any conflicts your drive is having with other hardware in your system

when finished click ok and restart your computer

doing this should clear up any conflicts your cd drive is having
