When I boot up, I get this error message:
"conflict I/O ports: 2F8
press F1 to continue"
After pressing F1, everything works fine.

There are several common causes of this problem First is physical misconfiguration, such as loose or incorrectly connected cables This is usually seen when the PC is first put together Another common problem is incorrectly configured software that may not be looking for the devices on the ports Resource conflicts can also cause trouble
Since you pressed F1 have you received that error message again If so make sure that your hardware is installed correctly with the proper software.
