Here lately, our computer wants to shut down over and over again on occasions. It also freezes up several times. This is usually everytime the computer is on. Everytime we went to celinedion.com and played a sound clip of a new song with our media player, it always shuts down. Norton anti-virus detected no viruses and it detected 41000 files. Is this too many files for a home pc? Is the problem the memory left on our computer? Do we need to take it to a professional? I hope you can help. Any advice would be kindly appreciated. Thanks.

Sincerly, Ms. Gibson

If these files are music files they are probably taking up alot of memory and that's why your computer might be shutting off The way you can check to see how much free space you have to go to my computer>right click on properties and check to see how mch free space you have If it's not alot you might want to either remove some of thoes files or add more memory.
