What do you do when you get fatel exception error?

system crashes with message: a fatal exception has occured at 0028:c0004717 in VXD VMM(01)

+00003717. The current application will be terminated. press any key to continue.

or it says 0028:c00046e0 in VXD VMM(01)+000036e0

keeps happening online or just switching on computer. HELP

When you get "a fatal exception has occurred at" error this is ALWAYS a memory problem

The reason u get this when you go online is because some web pages require a lot of resources Chances are your computer couldn't handle the load without the necessary memory You can never have too much RAM so if I were you I would invest in a RAM upgrade.
